Feliz ano Nuevo!

Hola!!!

Feliz ano nuevo!!! Can you believe it is 2015? I really can´t! But I am so excited for this year to come. 

We had the best week. I havent written in awhile but Guatemala just loves Christmas and New Years. So we have seen so many fireworks and I feel like I am at Disneyland!! Also, everyone has nativity scenes in their houses. Not just small cute little nativity scenes, but HUGE ones. With lights that could give you a headache in one look! It is so cute! I love them so much. They all wait till Christmas day to put Jesus in the manger. 

So we have the best news ever! Jackie, the niece of our convert William, is going to get baptized! She is soooo soooo awesome! I love her so much. She had us come over to talk to us the other night after church and we were so worried that she wanted to tell us that she didnt want to get baptized and so we were feeling like we were about to get dumped by our investigador. BUT, we had faith and went into that lesson and she totally flipped our world! She told us that she knows that she needs to get baptized and that she just has felt so much peace in the church and talking with us, especially with the loss of her dad a year ago. She wants us to pray that her mom is supportive, but she has decided to get baptized. Hermana J and I were crying tears of joy. And William just got the priesthood so he is going to baptize her. Ahh, it makes my heart so happy. We love that family.
