Happy!
Hola!
How are you? Hope life has been great this week!!
This week has been wonderful! William is doing awesome and we have been teaching so many people who are so ready to hear the message of the gospel!!! We are teaching a girl named Jamie... and she is 18 and she is GETTING BAPTIZED this Sunday! We are SOOO excited. I love teaching her so much. Every single time we teach her I get flashbacks to when the sister missionaries taught me and I just cannot stop smiling. I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and I am so happy that she is seeing the blessings from it in her life. She is so excited for her baptism and she even went to girls camp this week with all the young women! We are seeing so many tender mercies and we are also having so much fun. It seems like every day just gets better and better.
Thank you for your love and your support. I cannot express how much I love you.
Con amor,

Antigua
Hola!!!! How are you all? How was Halloween?? Ahhh. SO much good stuff this week.
Soooo... I am in ANTIGUA!!!!! And I am in Heaven. Antigua is BEAUTIFUL. It is seriously a dream. My new companion is Hermana Johnson and she is the best! She is my 3rd trainer and she is such a good missionary. I am learning soooo much from her. Antigua is really touristy so we have met people from all around the world. This week we saw and talked to people from Denmark, America, India, and Scotland! Oh and of course Guatemala! It is really strange talking to people in English but we just have so much fun getting to meet people from all over.
This week was great! My favorite so far! Hermana Johnson and I started fasting on saturday for the first sunday of the month....and while knocking doors, we saw someone peep their head out of their window. All I saw was long hair so I said.... Hola Hermana.... and it turned out to be a man with long hair. So we all started laughing and this man must have thought I was crazy.. but he agreed to talk to us and listen to our message. His name is William and we invited him to church and to be baptized and he agreed to both. Then on sunday, HE CAME! And he was beaming. Smiling the whole time. And he stayed for all three hours and made a bunch of friends. So we are super happy and know that he is a miracle! Fasting is real!!
I love it here! I really love the opportunity that I get to talk to everyone and invite them to come unto Christ. I love that I get to share the Restored Gospel with people and that I can see the Light of Christ in their eyes as they come to know that these things are TRUE. I love how God helps us overcome things we couldnt imagine overcoming. I know that this message is true and it is something most precious to me. I love it and I love you.
Thank you for everything. xoxoxox

Changgessss
How is it already Tuesday? It feels like yesterday I was writing you!
I hope you have had a great week so far.
This week has been the craziest one yet!
First off... tomorrow we have changes... anddddd Hermana W and I are CLOSING the area. That means we are both leaving and that we are moving to new areas and are going to be with new companions! We are sad to leave this area, especially because both of us are leaving.. but we are excited to see what the Lord has instore for us. Something great, I just know it. =)
Also....
We had a bunch of meetings this week and Hna W and I had planned to have this super cool (halloween) activity for our ward. We did not call it a halloween activity because they think it is a bad holiday, so we just invited families to come play games and get candy and to dress their kids up! Everyone loved the idea. So we were SO excited. But, when we showed up to the activity, all the organizations had forgotten-or were too busy- to help and nothing had been done! Our little hearts broke, but then we remembered that nothing is impossible so we had faith and went to work. We starting making up games and as people started to come, some really pilas members started to help us put things together. IT WAS A SUCCESS. Kids even dressed up and it was the cutest thing! We were so happy for a supportive ward and the tender mercies of the Lord. We could not have done it alone.
I love life and I love serving here. There is nothing like hearing someone offer their first prayer to their Heavenly Father. I just stand there with my eyes closed smiling like a dork because I am so happy. And knowing how happy I am, just lets me know how much more Heavenly Father is happy. I love the opportunity to serve the Lord and I know that the things I am teaching are true. So true. I love you all.

Small Email
Hola!!!
How are you all? I hope this small email can make you happy today.
So this week we saw some great miracles with people coming to church and we were so happy. We also had some trials, which is okay! But our mission president asked us a really good question when in some tough times. The question is-- How many easy days did the Savior have? .... and it really got us thinking. We are so blessed here. We have seen so many beautiful things and miracles and we cannot complain for a second. We will go through hard things, but we must remember that the Lord has gone through it all. He has done this for us, and I could not be more grateful for Him. I love this work and I love being a missionary. I love you all, too. Keep on being great!!!! Love you!

HEY!
GREAT week. I love it here. I love Guatemalans and all I get to learn from them!
This week we had a cool experience with a cutie named Idalia! She let us teach her and then she came to church with us too!!! Most people are super busy on sunday so it was such a miracle! She seemed to like it, too! YAY! Gotta love that.
Fun things from this week....
......We ate chicken stomach! Not too bad.
......Hermana Weatherford and I because mouse hunters on PDay... still no progress. To be continued on that one.....
....We had an earthquake! Nothing huge, but still an adventure!
......We got to wear corte on Pday at the house of a member that we are friends with. The pictures attatched are of Corte! It is this beautiful traditional clothing all the women wear! And we put stuff on our heads too, like the woman do. They carry around the heaviest things on their heads and they dont feel any pain! WOO!
Love you forever and know that God does too!!!
Follow the promptings of the Spirit and you will see miracles!!!
happy october
How are you? I hope you know I love you and that this little email can bring a smile to your face today!
This week was good. We have a progressing investigador, Alvaro! He is SUPER ready to hear the message of the gospel and he reads his Book of Mormon and even went to Conference! His wife is a member and we are so excited to see them have an eternal family. We have been having Noche de Hogar with them every monday, which is basically a fun and spiritual family night and an opportunity for the family to get together! They have been a huge blessing in our lives here and we are excited to see them enjoy the fruits of the gospel in their lives!
How did you like conference? What was your favorite part? I do not know where to start cause all of the talks were SO good but I will tell you one that effected me this week.
Elder Hollands talk. He talked a lot about the compassionate service we should have for the less fortunate and it really hit my companion and I hard when we went to go teach our good friend Josefina. She has 3 daughters and is really really poor. They dont have a lot of food or clothes or a bathroom or nice things but they always let us read the book of mormon to them and have the sweetest spirits ever. Josefina is also pregnant and is suffering from many illnesses. We were teaching her and I offered a prayer for them and she said that she instantly felt comforted and felt that some of her burdens were lifted. I know that it was nothing I said, but that God truly is aware of her and wanted her to know how much He loved her, and how much he knows her. I know that God knows each of us and our circumstances. I also know that no matter where we are or what circumstance we are in, He just wants us to know that we can always turn to His son, Jesus Christ and feel peace in our lives.
I know this church is true. I LOVE you so much. So much it hurts! I think about you and pray for you by name, daily. I really hope you have a good week and always know that I love reading your emails! They mean so much.
Keep on being wonderful!
Love you forever and for always!
